Pacific Standard Time officially starts at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026

Clocks officially turn back an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1. If the nighttime bus trip you are riding is shown on the Saturday timetable, it will operate on Pacific Daylight Time. If the trip is shown on the Sunday timetable, it will operate on Pacific Standard Time.

The Nov. 1 time change also can create a one hour longer wait for riders on some overnight routes between the last Saturday night bus trip and the first Sunday morning bus trip.

Online real-time departure information is available via Metro and third-party mobile apps such as Google Maps and One Bus Away and can help you as you travel during the time change. For information about bus service, call Metro Customer Information at 206-553-3000, Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. TTY users, please dial the Washington State Relay Service at 711 or use our online Trip Planner.

Access Transportation – If you have a trip scheduled on Access Saturday including past midnight, the time change will not be in effect until the Sunday morning schedule. Access users can make a reservation or check their ride status through the call center at 206-205-5000 or WA Relay 711, and ask any questions about how the time change may affect their rides.
